a platform for them to communicate seamlessly.

LynkUp is the borderless real time messaging service for e-business. LynkUp helps in bringing the businesses, organisation or people using LynkUp under one umbrella by providing a platform for them to communicate seamlessly. LynkUp organizes your communication into messaging channels called Lynks.

Lynks can be shared as URLs or as QR codes that helps in creating a channel for the users to communicate. LynkUp is one of the projects launched by Moxtreme Corporation. The dashboard was mainly designed for the enterprise audience who would like to have an overall view of all the Lynks created and to have an overall bird’s eye view of the system.

Dashboards are a unique and powerful way to present databased intelligence using data visualization techniques that display relevant, actionable data as well as track stats and key performance indicators (KPIs). The major challenges while designing the dashboards were creating the interface for Single point of access for disparate data and along with it ensuring that the interface is easy, fast and that is shown in the most comprehensive way.

Apart from being the designer of the project, I was also responsible for the front-end development of the product. I used Photoshop and balsamic for creating the UI/UX and to develop the front-end of the product, I used HTML CSS and various front-end technologies for manipulation the DOM.

To design the overall application we used the double diamond structure. Where we started the project with the Discover phase. In which we made the Research required for the project and made the user research along with the direct and indirect market research, we dropped down all our key findings on an affinity map where we divided into screens of each step of the user journey. As we work through each step, there were main pain points, comments and positive feedbacks. After that, we started the developing of the application where we made user flows and started the testing of the idea by using paper prototyping.

Then we proceeded further, made our basic user interfaces, and started building the style guides required for the overall platform. Soon after developing the project, we deployed it on the web and started improving the application after checking the analytics.

Over all I focused on improving, the web experience of the project by giving them a clear visual information of the overall Lynks of the user and was able to tell a story of the process through the whole product journey. I was happy when the product owner was thrilled with the outcome. However, as in every design process, there is always a place to iterate and work towards the better design strategies.
