Level App

LevelApp is a platform for anyone to Learn and Earn.
Users are allowed to register as a Tutor and take sessions and
they can learn any Topic, Skill, or Sport.

Besides, users willing to learn can explore the wide range of topics or skills that we provide and simply book a session with the available tutors, be it online or in-person.

I worked as the product designer for the application and lead the design team to create a seamless mobile experience for the application. We took almost care in keeping the application clean and neat.LevelApp is an application hence built to connect students, professionals, freelancers, part-time tutors, and people with any skill across the globe and share knowledge.

One of the major problems that come while dealing with such projects is the skill gap and ineffective institutional-based education. Based on the main problem, the challenge on how to get an effective and applicable education to arise. As a Design lead in the project, my role was not just to ensure that the product can deliver its purpose to our users easily and smoothly, I also have to manage all the UI/ UX team members and tasks so that it can fall perfectly on schedule.

I also worked for hand in hand with the product managers, developers, and tried to bridge the Project managers and developers. I started the development of the project with the user research and proceeded by talking to the potential users of the project. The research aimed to prove that our assumptions that people do need a platform that can help them find a tutor easily are correct. Soon after finishing the user research and creating the personas, we created journey maps and user flows for all screens making low fidelity wireframes.

When we are done creating and placing the elements and information needed in each of the screens, we began to create a high-fidelity prototype. The entire element placement in this high-fidelity version was based on our layout on low-fidelity. Soon after that, we proceeded further and made sure that our high fidelity design was in a prototype. For creating the prototype, we used Invision app as the tool and made the prototype. After that, I worked for hand in hand with the developers in getting the interface developed.

After the successful completion of this, I understood the importance of the user research and user interviews, and how the user research helps in smoothening the entire design cycle.

Along with that, I also understood that along with proper user interviews the designers also need to perform user testing to ensure that the design that is implemented is accurate and is up to the expectations of the potential users.
